Taxes
Generally we distinguish two types of taxes; direct and indirect.
• Direct taxes are taxes on income, profits and capital.
These taxes are being paid directly to the tax authority. Examples; income tax and corporate tax.
• Indirect taxes are (usually) paid by your company to the taks authority. Your customer pays the tax on purchase. Examples; VAT and excise duties. In your records these taxes are booked as a liability on the balance sheet and your company ensures periodical payment to the tax authorities.
VAT is a complex tax especially for entrepeneurs who do business abroad. It is important to establish a distinction in the accounting for the various tax forms
The proposal to tax administration and tax includes:
• preparation and submission of VAT forms; monthly, quarterly and annual returns (VAT)
• The administration and submission of the corporate tax, annual return
• The preparation and submission of the EU VAT 0% returns.
